How this research is produced
The Diamond Price is an independent technology and research platform. Our figures are medians computed from live retail diamond listings, filtered by quality band so each number describes a comparable stone rather than a blend of the whole market. We publish the full method - data sources, why we use medians, why quality bands and shape-specific analysis matter, update frequency, validation, and known limitations - so that any figure here can be checked rather than taken on trust.
